the TE0725 module has a slot for a fiber optic transceiver.
In its
data sheet, the first bullet point under "Applications" is "Factory automation". This happens to be what I'm doing with TE0725, so I got curious.
Maybe the intended use case is linking two identical TE0725 boards, but I'm wondering whether it could also connect a single board to a PC. Is there any known example for such an application? Ideally I'd have a PXI card on the remote end.
