Title: TE0710 Artix7 FPGA connected to TE0703 breakout board
Post by: dcho on May 18, 2018, 06:31:24 PM
Hello -

I have a setup where the TE0710 module is connected to a TE0703 base board.  The TE0703 has areas on the side where it exposes the pinouts of the Artix7 FPGA on the TE0710 module.  I am having trouble finding the corresponding pinouts of the Artix7 FPGA on the TE0703.  I found a "TE_MASTER_PINOUT" excel where you choose which module and base board you are using and it populates the tables with the Artix7 pins and its corresponding pins on the TE0703 but I am unsure if it is correct.  I got my code (which is a simple SPI communication between Artix7 and a separate SPI device) running on another Artix7 but I am unable to get it working on this TE0710 connected with the TE0703.  I load the FPGA through vivado using USB but I am unable to communicate with the FPGA over SPI.  Board is powered using 5.9V 4A.

Is the "TE_MASTER_PINOUT" excel correct?
Is there a step I am missing to load the FPGA or get it running?

Thanks

Hello,
yes, you can use this excel sheet to get B2B Pinout.
You can verify with schematics if you want:
Board power should be 5V, see:

Which Vivado Version did you use? Which IP?
