Are the different power supply methods (with/without sequencing, using 3.3Vout, etc.) described in the TE0720 user manual also applicable for the TE0715?
More concrete, is it allowed for the TE0715 with Zynq Z-7030 to supply VIN, 3.3VIN and VCCIO13 at the same time from the same 3.3V source without power sequencing (NOSEQ = high)? If yes, should the pins 3.3VIN and 3.3V (output!) be connected on the base board as described in the TE0720 user manual (e. g. the internal FET switch is bypassed) or not?
Thanks!
hi
1 noseq pins is pretty much no function for TE0715
2 you can power VIN and 3.3vin from same 3.3V supply
re: TE0720, there are many legal ways of power supply, the "FET bypass" is not really needed, it only illustrates the use when TE0720 is plugged in into legacy main board for TE0600. It makes more sense to NOT bridge the FET switch, eg power the 3.3V IO via the fet switch
Perfect, thank you very much!
