Title: SSH into Trenz TE0720
Post by: Woody242 on June 27, 2015, 06:21:13 AM
Greetings all,

I can ping my module with out an issue but can't seem to SSH into the module using root/root.  I also tried to set the root password using passed on the terminal and it was not accepted.  What is the root password, can't seem to find any reference to it so I would expect it is the petalinux default.

Thanks,
Woody

Never mind just reset it from the serial console.

Odd, I typed root for the password many times.  Once i changed it in the console SSH started working.
Cant duplicate it now because Linux won't accept root as a password since it is too short.

Out of curiosity have to tried to use the terminal to connect to the serial port from with the SDK on a Linux machine? I can do this with SSH but the serial connection causes the SDK to crash.  Not a Trenz issue just curious if you have tried this.  Seems to work fine on my windows setup but not on Linux.
