Title: Help flashing petalinux on TE0720
Post by: AlexSan on October 07, 2025, 08:34:17 AM
Hello guys. I'm trying to download a petalinux image on my te0720 som, using a te0703 carrier board.
I've tried the same thing on my arty eval board and it was quite a straightforward proccess.
My questions are the following.
1) My image consists of the fsbl and and a rootfs. Do i download the fsbl on the qspi flash on my som and then create a partition on the emmc memory to upload the fs ?
2) What is the best way to upload the fsbl? Should i use the flash fpga process on the vitis ide or is there a dedicated petalinux command?

Hi,

have you already taken a look at our reference design? There you will find a description of booting via QSPI or SD card.
