Title: TE0820 Basic Linux Example - how to configure petalinux project ?
Post by: edgar_lemaire on February 10, 2020, 05:02:15 PM
Hello,

I am trying to do the tutorial (Vivado 2018.2) for TE0820 Basic Linux Example, with no prebuilt files.
I am trying to configure the petalinux-project, but I do not understand how to do so. petalinux-config --get-h-cesription fails end petalinux-config also... I have imported the HDF file to the ptlnx project folder but can't configure...

As I am quite a beginner in the matter, I would highly appreciate some help :)

Thank you,

Edgar

Hello,

I finally found the solution.

I had to cpy the tempate from os/petalinux to the prebuilt/hardware/<short name> folder, then run "petalinux-config --get-hw-description=..".
