Title: TE0715 on custom base board, SC signal connections
Post by: Steven Renich on February 25, 2016, 07:06:14 PM
I am using the TE0715 as a control module on a board we are designing, and I would like to verify some things about the System Controller on the TE0715.

The Wiki has a good page about the SC under the TE0720 documentation, which includes information on the SC signals (see "SC B2B Pins".)  However, I did not find much information on the SC for the TE0715.  The two boards use similar Lattice parts.  Both boards work on the TE0701, so I suspect that the two SC chips are programmed with similar functions.

The wiki link is:
https://wiki.trenz-electronic.de/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=3834226 (https://wiki.trenz-electronic.de/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=3834226)

1) Is the information in this wiki page correct for the TE0715 also (at least for the SC B2B signals)?

2) The weak pull-up and pull-downs listed are configured in the CPLD, correct?

3) JTAGSEL, JTAGMODE, and JTAGEN are the same signal, sorrect?

Thanks for your help,

Steven

Hi

yes as much possible the system pin functions are the same for the TE0715.

jtagsel-mode-en is the CPLD jtag mux control input, keep low for normal JTAG access
