Title: Gigabee and Carrier Board power consumption
Post by: RDT2 on October 06, 2011, 07:09:53 PM
I'm trying to spec out the amount of batteries I will need to power the Gigabee and it's carrier board. I was hoping you could provide typical current draws for a medium sized/medium speed fpga configuration for your system similar to what is provided on the Digilent devices.

 Hi,
we did a few measurements. Setup was GigaBee on TE0603-02 baseboard, connected to Gigabit Ethernet. 5V Powersupply connected to the baseboard.
