Title: TE0821 / TE0820 differences
Post by: ks on March 29, 2021, 11:11:24 AM
I have been comparing the data sheets of TE0821 and TE0820 but couldn't really find any differences. What is different between these two modules?
Is one of them planned to be discontinued in the future?

Hi,
TE0820, TE0821 and TE0823 are nearly the same: Main different:
TE0820 --> this was the original one with HP IOs(max 1.8V compatible) on the B2B
TE0821 --> is TE0820 with HD(max 3.3V compatible) and HP IOs on B2B, see: https://wiki.trenz-electronic.de/display/PD/4+x+5+SoM+Integration+Guide
TE0823 --> is low power variant (VCC_INT voltage at 0.72V) and LP DDR4., see https://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/data_sheets/ds925-zynq-ultrascale-plus.pdf and TE0823 schematics

PS: we offer the schematics on the download area of the modules

The modules will exist in parallel. EOL, see:
