Hi,
yes Modules use ST5 and Carrier SS5 connector. You find ordering number here:
https://wiki.trenz-electronic.de/display/PD/TE0745+TRM#TE0745TRM-BoardtoBoardConnectors
There are no cable between the connectors.

We also offer the altium project of our carrier, in case you want to use it to start with your own project:

Trenz Electronic FPGA Modules / Re: QSPI Programming Issue
Last post by MA - December 08, 2025, 09:25:56 AM
Hi,

it looks as your CPLD Firmware is not prepaired for JTAG Boot Mode. Can you please update your firmware and try again?

Another option would be to use an older Vivado version (prior to 2021) to programme the QSPI.

Trenz Electronic FPGA Modules / QSPI Programming Issue
Last post by mucahityldrm10 - December 05, 2025, 07:41:47 PM
Hi everyone,

I'm usin te0720-04-62I33ML 4x5 SoM. Also I have te0705 simpllified cariier board. I'm using vivado 2022.1
I wrote a simple standalone LED blink code, and I can debug it normally, and it works. However, when I compile and try to load this code with FSBL for the QSP flash, Vivado gives the following error. It says I can't get the processor into JTAG boot mode. No matter what I do, I can't get the system into JTAG boot mode. It's either in SD card mode or QSP mode. The configuration you've made on the carrier board is as shown in the image below. I need urgent help. Thank you for your support.

Hello,

we try to update our designs one time per year, but unfortunately, we can't always get there right away.

Updates to 25.2 are planned, but I can't tell you any timeline at the moment. During changes from Vitis and petalinux in the future, we have to update our flow for project generation, we working on this task but it takes a little bit time.

You can try to start vivado design from 23.2 with 25.2 when you change in "desgin_basic_settings.cmd"
@set VIVADO_VERSION=2023.2 to @set VIVADO_VERSION=2025.2 and start "_create_win_setup.cmd" again. I think Vivado design generation should work, but for Vitis or petalinux you must  do steps manually.

Best regards

Hi
That's correct. 3.3V_FMC is NOT connected to J10. We have corrected this in the schematics.
Thanks for pointing that out.

Hello

Can you confirm that in the schematics SCH-TEIB0006-03-A.pdf the 3.3V_FMC is not connected to the J10 connector ?
In the schematics page 3 it seems to be connected but further in the schematics nothing connected.
Thanks
