Title: Quad SPI core in XPS 13.2
Post by: GuinnessTrinker on June 21, 2012, 12:51:28 PM
When adding a Quad SPI device for the Winbond flash to the "Recommended starting point for EDK-based designs" at
http://www.trenz-electronic.de/download/d0/Trenz_Electronic/d1/TE0600-GigaBee_series/d2/TE0600/d3/reference_designs.html

I get this error:

ERROR:Xst:2647 - Failed to run core generator for <axi_quad_spi_0_wrapper_dist_mem_gen_v6_2> macro.
ERROR:EDK - xst: unknown error occurred.
ERROR:EDK:546 - Aborting XST flow execution!

According to
http://forums.xilinx.com/t5/EDK-and-Platform-Studio/SPI-core-that-supports-Winbond-QUAD/td-p/107787/page/2

I am not the only one.
Does anyone solved this problem?
