Title: Debian for our modules
Post by: Antti Lukats on May 17, 2016, 02:50:47 PM
setting up Debian is fairly simple, once it is done, remote desktop access too, works surprisingly smoothly.

we will prepare howto-doc and ready images

https://wiki.trenz-electronic.de/display/PD/Debian+Installation

here is for now just a snapshot from remote session to TE0720

Hi,

please, can you make the Debian for the TE0723-02M too.

Best regards,

Viktor

DONE :)

Our generic Debian distro is not bound to any specific module at all, its only the rootfs in second EXT4 partition. So whatever is booted, whatever module, as long as it uses rootfs from SD Card, it has Debian!

Hi,

thanks for your answer. Please, can you point to the "generic Debian distro" for downloading?

Best regards,

Viktor

go to our downloads TE0726, there is SD card image, it is generic, the first partition is empty.

if you place kernel into first part and boot, it should go into Debian Jessie...
