Title: Config done led on Gigabee
Post by: rifo on December 19, 2011, 04:09:10 PM
Hello,

I have a design where upon loading it (as a bitfile) config done led on the module doesn't light up. The design works as expected though. I have checked output signals with an oscilloscope and the module is definitely alive. Is my interpretation of the config done led wrong? Or do I miss something critical. In case it might be relevant, I make use of both DDRs and didn't modify the power inputs to the FPGA banks.  I also know that the led is functioning because with other designs it lights up as expected.

I would be happy if you can guide me about this
best regards
rifo

Hi Rifo,
GigaBee has no DONE LED. It only has a user LED. You need to connect a signal to it to light it up to use it as DONE.

Hello Thorsten

Thanks a lot for your answer. My other designs probably made use of that pin so I tricked myself :) to believe that it was a config done led.
