Title: Power requirements of the module
Post by: tahirsengine on September 24, 2021, 09:57:53 AM
I am using TE0711-01-100-2C with TE0703-06. Do I need to supply power separately or a connection with a USB port(0.5A, 5V) will be sufficient? I am just programming FPGA on TE0711-01-100-2C and communicating with an ethernet cable. Please inform. I guess these modules need power separately.
And if this is true then how much the power rating of the power supply / adapter should be.

Hi, you need separate power supply, there is a 2,1mm power jack for 5V. Current depends mainly on your design and cooling solution. 2 or 3A power supply should be enough for the most applications.
