Title: TE0720 SC CPLD not enabling 3.3V
Post by: Jerry.Martinson on December 08, 2017, 08:24:15 AM
Hi,

I recently designed a custom carrier card for the TE0720 supplying the board with both 3.3V and 5V.  I think I have EN1 and NOSEQ strapped correctly and the board boots up off of the eMMC.  However, I cannot get the TE0720's SC CPLD to enable 3.3V on the TE0720. So 3.3V isn't enabled through the pass transistor.

I've looked through many documents over the past 12 hours and can't figure out what I'm doing different than the TE701-6 or TE706 carrier boards.  Is there any more description for what it takes for the CPLD to enable this pin?  Is there any RTL code available for what's inside the SC CPLD?

Hi,
make NOSEQ to High, to disable sequencing of cpld:
EN_3V3 is set to high in this state.
CPLD descriptions is in planning, but i can't tell a timeline.

You can also send your schematics(or a part like B2B) to support@trenz-electronic.de. I can check, if i find out something.
