Title: TE0745 Module QSPI Flash not programmable anymore
Post by: aramsam on March 09, 2022, 03:09:13 PM
Hi,

I have a TE0745 module with the dev board TEB0745. After a power interruption during Flashing, the QSPI flash is not flashable anymore. The device is being recognised via JTAG and PL is programmable via vivado / labtools. But labtools/vitis cannot program the flash anymore. I have also tried with fsbl_flash.elf.

Can anyone give me a tip on how to recover this ? If I want to go JTAG boot mode, I do find the CPLD firmware necessary for this for TE0745.

Thanks in advance for any pointers.

Hi,

I found the solution meanwhile. May be it is useful for some one who has similar issues.

I switched to sd card boot mode in eval board (even without sd card). Then created the modified fsbl as described in : https://support.xilinx.com/s/article/70548?language=en_US

This flashed the SPI without any problems.

Switch back to QSPI and module is normally usable again.

Cheers

Hi,
https://support.xilinx.com/s/article/70548?language=en_US
does also not help on all versions of vivado/vivado lab tools.
Here are some notes regarding QSPI programming on different versions:
