Title: TE0726 Reference Designs
Post by: wholzke on January 21, 2022, 09:59:52 PM
Hello,

I want to setup the tools for a Zynqberry. The latest reference designs are for Vitis and Petalinux 2002.2.
That means I have to use Vitis and Petalinux 2002.2 or is it possible to load the ref. designs with newes version e.g. 2021.2?

Thanks

Hi,
it means we have test only with 2020.2

Xilinx has changed a lot if things with 21.2. You can use Vivado project and migrate to 2021.2. But you must create Vitis project and petalinux project from scatch.

Note: it seems that QSPI programming is with 2021.2 not longer possible in case Boot Mode is not JTAG only. We are working on it. In the meantime, use simple Vivado Labtools of an older Vivado Version.  Here are some history and additional information regarding this topic: https://wiki.trenz-electronic.de/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=105689937
