Hello,
I would like to make a design for the TE0745-02-30-2IA module. To get started quickly, I downloaded the reference design test_board from the Trenz website. Unfortunately, this reference design only supports the TE0745-02-30-1I, which has a slower speedgrade than the part I would like to use. What should I do? Are there any plans to add support for TE0745-02-30-2IA to the reference design? Is it sufficient to build the example for the TE0745-02-30-1I, and manually change the part from xc7z030fbg676-1 to xc7z030fbg676-2?
Many thanks!
Hi,
you can use files from " TE0745-02-45-2I":
https://wiki.trenz-electronic.de/display/PD/TE0745+Test+Board#TE0745TestBoard-Hardware
Select the correct ID on the design_basic_settings.cmd, see:
the "A" is not so important, it's different flash size. Update TE0745 to Vivado 2018.2 is planned in the next 2 weeks. I will add also the notes of the new assembly variants.

Thanks,
So TE0745-02-45-2I is closer to TE0745-02-30-2IA than TE0745-02-30-1I?
Jules
Hi,
sorry my mistake....I should read more carefully .
TE0745-02-30-2IA <-> TE0745-02-30-1I is OK for first test. Speed Grade is wrong and tools calculate more restrict timing but it should work.
Until I've update the designs, you can also do following:
Open "board_files\TE0745_30\1.0\board.xml" and "board_files\TE0745_30\1.0\part0_pins.xml" with normal text editor(for example notpad++) and change (devices from "xc7z030fbg676-1" to "xc7z030fbg676-2") and if you want to generate the project with our scripts also on "test_board\board_files\TE0745_board_files.csv" for this assembly option.
