Title: TE0603 Header Baseboard - switching regulator max. output current
Post by: Mathias_84 on April 16, 2012, 08:36:27 AM
Hello

What's the max. output current and the max. output voltage ripple of the switching regulator on the TE0603 Header Baseboard?
It would be great to get the calculation for selecting the components.

Best regards

Hi,
ST1S10PUR is used on the baseboard, it has 3A output current capability.
You'll find the formulas for calculating the ripple current in the datasheet.
But as the load consist of several switchmode regulators, its nearly impossible to calculate.
Typical measured value is less then 20mV, with TE0600 and loaded reference design (about 500mA current consumption).
