Title: TE0713 pcie and sd-sdi
Post by: lantionik on May 28, 2018, 10:42:48 AM
Hello. I have TE0713. On my own board on which I mounted TE0713 i have only one mgt ref clock (that generated on TE0713). I would like to use it for pcie (that use 1 GT channel) and for sd-sdi transceiver (that use 2 GT channel). Is this possible? Thank you.

Hello,

On PCIe IP core you has different options on "Shared Logic" tap to use shared components also for other MGT based IPs.

So I think it's possible, but I never tried out.

PS: Default configuration for SI5338 CLK2 output is 125MHz on the TE0713.

Thanks for the reply. I ascked bout also on Xilinx forum and it has been said to me that is possibile and there is a bug with IP for pcie that I'm currently using DMA/Bridge subsystem for pcie 4.0.
