We are looking at using the TE8020 module in one of our designs and have a few questions.

Thanks,

Hi,
The wiki notes that the DDR4 is connected to the Processing System (PS) and not to the Programmable Logic (PL). Is this correct? Or is the DDR4 accessible from the PL?
is accessible also from PL, see:
https://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/user_guides/ug1085-zynq-ultrascale-trm.pdf
If the DDR4 is not accessible from the PL is it possible to add more DDR4 RAM on a carrier board connected through the B2B connectors? How would you suggest adding DDR4 RAM to the PL
I would not try to do this. In general DDR on PL is possible, but DDR need special connection and routing.
Do you have any same code/projects that demonstrate the use of the VCU in the EV devices?
No. Available reference designs for TE820: https://wiki.trenz-electronic.de/display/PD/TE0820+Reference+Designs
Are you still expecting the device to be available on 29 July?
Which assembly variant? But please ask sales@trenz-electronic.de for expected availibility
Are engineering samples available?
No
