Title: Remote update(Field update) of SPI flash memory in TE0712
Post by: Varun on July 03, 2018, 10:39:24 AM
Hi,

I am using TE0712(Artix 7 200T) Micromodule and TE0702 carrier board.

From Vivado, I am able to create the mcs for SPI flash and program through JTAG.

But I need to do remote update for SPI flash memory in FPGA module.
I am having the Microcontroller module that is connected to FPGA through SPI interface.

SETUP:From Microcontroller through SPI interface, FPGA will receive the new mcs file for updating SPI flash memory.

I would like to know, whether is it possible to update the SPI flash memory using above setup or any change is required for doing this update?

Thanks,
Varun

Hi,
you mean configure FPGA from over remote PC, yes? You can easily use Xilinx software. See:
