ZynqBerry Bitstream Encryption/Decryption Support
« on: August 09, 2018, 03:56:05 PM »
Hi,
does the zynq device on the ZynqBerry support bitstream decryption.
In Vivado 2018.1 there is no option to encrypt the bitstream!

Best regards

Hi,
i never tried out, but normally it should be possible:
for Vivado 2018.1 see:
for Vivado 2018.2 see:on both see chapter:
  • Chapter 7 Advanced Programming Features
  • Appendix A: Device Configuration Bitstream Settings

or what did you mean with option is not available?

Hi John,
I have already read those guides but in Vivado when opening an implemented design and changing bitstream settings the encryption option is not listed!
When I do it via constraints file I get critical warnings.
I tried the steps above with another device and I see the encryption option in the bitstream settings!
So maybe the zynq device on the zynqberry does not support it?

Best regards
