I have a TE0711 module and wish to mount onto a TE0706 carrier.  Is the preferred mounting method to KEEP the standoffs ON  the TE0711 or should they be removed ?

Keep the standoffs on the module. So it's easier to dismount the module from the carrier, if needed.
