DisplayPort Aux monitor
« on: August 02, 2016, 06:09:07 PM »
released

http://www.trenz-electronic.de/de/download/d0/Trenz_Electronic/d1/ipcores/d2/2016.1.html

this is very simple IP core that listens on DisplayPort AUX lines and converts the data to 8 bit AXI stream, we used in with DP debug on ZU+. The AXI stream can be connected to ILA, and the saved to CSV where it is easy to decode..

we have actually plenty of more IP Cores in the "to be relased" que..

I'd like to see a DP+ core and a Trenz-PCB to use it to shun license issues with HDMI.

Hi, this old IP which antti mentions is here:
https://shop.trenz-electronic.de/de/Download/?path=Trenz_Electronic/Software/Vivado_IP_Core/2016.1
But I think it's for monitoring only

the IP core is only for logging DP AUX stream, was useful when doing early debugging, it shows raw AUX data as being transmitted received.

Ah, see. However, I was focussing on this sentence:
we have actually plenty of more IP Cores in the "to be relased" que..

I see, well some of those are online in some of our reference designs already, just not separatly documented.
