Q: May I test RTCM on Gmm-u1 evaluation kit or Gms-d1 evaluation kit or Gms-u1LP evaluation kit?RTCM is not available on the following standard evaluation-kits:
- GlobalTop Gmm-u1 evaluation kit (standard)
- GlobalTop Gms-d1 evaluation kit (standard)
- GlobalTop Gms-u1LP evaluation kit (standard)
as the RTCM pin is not connected.
GlobalTop though provides an RTCM capable version of the same evaluation-kits:
- GlobalTop Gmm-u1 evaluation kit (RTCM)
- GlobalTop Gms-d1 evaluation kit (RTCM)
- GlobalTop Gms-u1LP evaluation kit (RTCM)
The port functions of the RTCM version of the corresponding evaluation kits are listed hereunder:
- USB port: power supply + GlobalTop GPS module UART port over MediaTek virtual COM port driver
- RS-232 port: RTCM data transfer to the GlobalTop GPS module
