Hello,

I bought a TE0712 module with the corresponding heatsink. I have two question on mounting the heatsink:

- http://www.trenz-electronic.de/fileadmin/docs/Trenz_Electronic/TE0712/heatsink/26924-TE0712-Heatsink.pdf talks about 4 different spacers for the 4 screw positions. However in the bag for my heatsink where 5 spacers of 3 sizes (3 small, 1 medium, 1 large). Which one should I use for which position?
- The terminal pad has a rather smooth and a rough side. Which side belongs to the FPGA and which to the Heatsink?

Best regards

Dear Tobias,

We know that the description you´ve got is not really satisfying and we intend to make a demonstration video shortly.
The side of the pad is not relevant. If you remove the films of the pad both sides are the same.
Positions of the spacers:
For Pos. B you´ve to take only one of the three smallest spacers (0,5mm)
For Pos. C you´ve to take one of the three smallest spacers and the biggest one.(2 mm + 0,5)
For Pos. D you´ve to take the last of the smallest spacers. (1 mm + 0,5)
I hope i´ve explained it helpfully for you. If not please contact me again.
