Hi,

we have a fully working embedded design on a Xilinx ZC702 demo board that we are looking to migrate to the Trenz TE0720.  Do you know the best migration path within PlanAhead to achieve this?

Thanks,

Tim

Hello,

PlanAhead workflow is now obsolete (new Xilinx projects should be oriented to use Vivado). For migration to TE0720 you should modify your project settings and constrains, there is no automatic migration tools. If you face some serious problem with this project migration, we can offer help.

Hi, following the Vivado reference video on your website, when the project is created, it shows the trenz board getting selected, whereas I cannot see any Trenz boards available when I try and do the same, did you have to patch the Vivado install to allow it to see the board?

Hi Tim,

Unfortunatelly, this settings is not in production stage yet.
This settings do the same staff as importing board XML or changing settings on Zynq block. You can import XML from http://www.trenz-electronic.de/download/d0/Trenz_Electronic/d1/TE0720-GigaZee/d2/reference_designs.html or Just select needed periphrals memory type and memory settings (you can use all zero values as DDR chip is close to FPGA).
