Q: what is the difference between AGPS function for MediaTek MT3329 GlobalTop receivers and "EPO in Flash" function for MediaTek MT3339 GlobalTop receivers?

Basically "AGPS" (Assisted GPS) and "EPO in Flash" and are same a function for the user.
The difference between AGPS (assisted GPS) function for MediaTek MT3329 GlobaTtop receivers and "EPO in Flash" function for MediaTek MT3339 GlobalTop receivers is the maximum validity duration of the Extended Prediction Orbit data:

  • MediaTek MT3329 GlobaTtop receivers:   7 days (AGPS)
  • MediaTek MT3339 GlobaTtop receivers: 14 days (EPO in Flash)
