Problems programming my CYC1000
imuguruza:
Hi,
I have made a small prj in Quartus Prime 20.1 and now I want to upload the sof to the device.
I have installed the latest Arrow Programmer v2.5, FTDI chip drivers but the quartus programmer does not detect it.
If I go to device manager I can see it, it is listed as COM9:

And if I execute ToolZ I can see that two devices are discovered, I assume they are the FPGA and the Flash mem:

BTW, I am working in Win10
Any clue what's going wrong? It is pretty frustrating...
Thanks,

Hi,
can you send me the serial number of your board (number on white sticker with QR code)?
In our Download area you can find the diagnostic tool "Arrow USB Programmer2 diagnostic Program for WinOS". Please download this tool, run it as administrator and send me the log:
* Diagnostic tool: https://shop.trenz-electronic.de/de/Download/?path=Trenz_Electronic/Software/Drivers/Arrow_USB_Programmer -> Arrow_USB_Programmer2_diagnostic_Program_for_Win_OS.zip
Also take a look at the "Arrow USB Programmer2 Troubleshooting" pdf file:

Hi Thomas,
Thanks for you fast reply.
I have gone through the doc ane everything looks fine, the regex part too...
I have run the troubleshooting exe with the board attached and I see 0 errors (check attached file)
The board's info:
TEI0001-03
A09950

Now I can see it in Quartus...
What a mistery...

Thomas D:
Good to hear that it's working now.
BTW... it's a MAX1000 board with MAX10 fpga and NOT a CYC1000 board.
(Edit: okay, I see you already changed the topic of your last post to MAX1000...)
