TEB0745 IO/Expander Addresses Issue

Hello All,

Regarding the IO Expander (U18 - U25) addresses, Kindly update the TEB0745-02 schematic and TRM documents as the addresses stated are not the actual ones.

The docs state that the addresses are :

• U18 => 0x20
• U19 => 0x21
• U20 => 0x22
• U21 => 0x23
• U22 => 0x24
• U23 => 0x25
• U24 => 0x26
• U25 => 0x27

and that is true for PCF8574DWR. But the placed IO Expander is PCF8574A which addresses are :
 

• U18 => 0x38
• U19 => 0x39
• U20 => 0x3A
• U21 => 0x3B
• U22 => 0x3C
• U23 => 0x3D
• U24 => 0x3E
• U25 => 0x3F

Hi,
I've checked your serial number. This carrier is from 2017. At that time, the other expanders were once equipped by mistake (were incorrectly labelled). At that time we didn't add PCN to our public doc, only the customers were informed (your module went to Digikey), maybe that's why it didn't reach you.  If something like this happens again (which I hope not), then we would also add a PCN or AN to the Public Wiki.
So default PCF8574DWR is assembled on TEB0745
