Why is there no EDK13.2 reference design?
when to expect it?

Ales Gorkic

Dear MSN,

We have converted the necessary cores to be compatible with 13.x tools. For the project conversion we expect to make it in about 10 days.
If you are in a hurry you can convert it by yourself. I have already uploaded the updated cores to MyProcessorIPLib\pcores\
xps_fx2_v1_30_a
xps_i2c_slave_v1_20_a
xps_npi_dma_v3_00_a

All of the software stays the same. The only difference is that the software can only be build using SDK.
You have to export the hardware design from XPS to SDK. Then in SDK add custom driver repository and build Xilinx Board Support Package.
Then create new Xilinx C Project and import existing project (file system import). If you wish to run the program from external memory (DDR) then you also need linker script.

Best regards,

Ales

Hi MSN,

We have made an EDK 13.2 project for TE0300-01BMLP:
https://github.com/Trenz-Electronic/TE03XX-Reference-Designs/
https://github.com/Trenz-Electronic/TE03XX-Reference-Designs/tree/master/reference-TE0300/

The project program works only properly when reading from memory. We are still investigating why we cannot write to memory. There are 0 bytes written to the memory.
The new xps_fx2 version 1.50 core was verified with EDK v12.4.

Best regards,

Ales

MSN

Hey
I need to know whether you are working on it?
Please tell me if you stopped supporting the TE0300 board.

Ales Gorkic

Hi MSN,

We are working on it.
But we have limited resources and cannot do all projects at once.
Did you maybe tried it with xps_fx2_v1_30_a?

Best regards,

Ales
