Telit GC864-QUAD: difference between V2 and CLONE

Q: what is the difference between Telit GC864-QUAD V2 and Telit GC864-QUAD CLONE?

Telit GC864-QUAD CLONE has the following additional features with regard to Telit GC864-QUAD V2:
  • battery charger
  • voltage regulator
If you do not need these features, you are better off with the cheaper Telit GC864-QUAD V2, even for new designs.

On the CLONE is one problem.
If You use Telit's GPIO on your board, then You are not able  use GPI1 and GPI04.
These signals are needed for connect GPS part with GPRS part Telit GE864-GPS on the CLONE.
