Dear Forum,

We are about to procure this TE0808 Starter Kit https://www.xilinx.com/products/boards-and-kits/1-hykivb.html  and I am currently installing the whole ecosystem with the different products/steps: Vivado, SDK and then PetaLinux in order to build an image and run reVision on the Trenz board.

Could you please let us know what would be the expected licenses needed to be fully autonomous in this building chain ?
What would be the (estimated, don't expect quote here) cost  ?

I'll sure be in touch with our Xilinx Authorized Distributor here in EMEA/Belgium, however, I would like first to have an understanding of what is exactly required for running smoothly Vivado, SDK and then Petalinux ecosystem in the specific case of the ZU9EG related product(s).

Thank you very much,

Kind regards,

blietaer

Hi,
TE080x Starterkit is available with TE0808 or with TE0803:
https://shop.trenz-electronic.de/en/search?sSearch=TE0803+Starterkit
https://shop.trenz-electronic.de/en/search?sSearch=TE0808+Starterkit

TE0808, TE0803 and TE0807 are compatible with the carrier of this starterkit and also available with different SoC variants.
Depending on the SoC size, a separate Xilinx licence for Vivado is needed, see:
https://www.xilinx.com/content/dam/xilinx/support/documentation/sw_manuals/xilinx2018_3/ug973-vivado-release-notes-install-license.pdf
-->page 17 supported device.
for 18.3 XCZU2EG, XCZU2CG, XCZU3EG, XCZU3CG XCZU4EG, XCZU4CG, XCZU4EV, XCZU5EG, XCZU5CG, XCZU5EV, XCZU7EV, XCZU7EG, and XCZU7CG are available in the free webpack version from xilinx.

So TE0808 has ZU9 and ZU15, so you buy also Xilinx Software (you must buy there, we do not sell Xilinx software licence ). TE0803 and TE0807 has some assembly versions included which works with webpack.

We provide Reference Designs for this module series, here are links to all documentation and sources:
