Problems with TE0713 and a blinking sysled

Hi,

We are currently working with a TE0713 on an own developed custom baseboard, and we are facing some problems.

What currently is working:
1) Power on board is ok (3.3V @ VIN and its a clean signal in the scope), and the total current consumption is 300mA. When EN1 is forced low, current consumptions goes to 100mA, (the baseboard itself has a consumption of 50mA with no TE0713 connected).
2) We can detect and program the CPLD properly via JTAG (we use the JTAG-SMT3-NC device)
3) We can see the XC7A200T device (we haven't attempted to program yet) via JTAG.
4) We get +3.3VOUT

BUT

1) Sysled keeps blinking. When uploading the CPLD firmware, it halts (keeps off), but when the firmware runs, it starts over again.
2) Power good signals keeps low.

Any help will be appreciated.

Best regards

JH

Hi,
https://wiki.trenz-electronic.de/display/PD/TE0713+CPLD#TE0713CPLD-LED

-->SYSLED1 (Green LED D1)   ON when RESIN=0, else FGPIO1 when DONE=1 else Blinking
So this seem to be OK, when you hold system imto Reset (negative reset), LED is on, when fpga is programmed, LED is FPGA_IO1 (FPGA Pin) otherwise it blinking.

https://wiki.trenz-electronic.de/display/PD/TE0713+CPLD#TE0713CPLD-Power
-->Power Good Pin is zero, if RESIN, EN1, PG_SENSE or PG_DDR_PWR are low, else high impedance. EN1 is also used to enable 1V Power (connected directly outside of the CPLD).

Do you have pullup on PGOOD on your carrier?

We have some general notes for the controller signal: https://wiki.trenz-electronic.de/display/PD/4+x+5+SoM+Integration+Guide#id-4x5SoMIntegrationGuide-4x5ModuleControllerIOs

Thank you. Finally I got a fully functional design, but I miss that PGOOD is high impedance when active, because according to https://wiki.trenz-electronic.de/display/PD/TE0713+TRM says "PGOOD   Output   Power good   Active high when all on-module power supplies are working properly.", but appart from the rest is functional.

Thank you again for your prompt response.

Hi,
sorry for that, this was a wrong description. I've changed  it.
